TitleWhat is a wheel alignment?
Answer

A wheel alignment is the adjustment of the angles of the wheels in relation to road surfaces and each other.

Wheel alignments are often performed after a replacement of tires or suspension components, after an impact with a pothole or curb, or when the following conditions occur: observation of abnormal tire wear or offset steering wheel. Handling concerns such as drifting, pulling, wandering, or darting may also prompt a wheel alignment.

Wheel alignment maintenance:

Performing a wheel alignment on your vehicle helps to increase tire life, optimize handling, and reduce steering effort. Ignoring wheel alignment can result in increased irregular tire wear and more frequent tire replacements. If the wheel alignment falls out of specifications, the vehicle may wander, pull, drift, or dart. If you are experiencing any of these conditions, we recommend having your vehicle evaluated by a Honda dealership. Dealer technicians will measure alignment angles using sophisticated equipment and adjust, or possibly replace, suspension components as needed.
